Waruzō Waruta (輪流田和瑠蔵 Waruta Waruzō) is a character in the audio drama Hirai Residence Barricading Incident. He is a failed bank robber who tried to take hostages at the Hirai Residence.
Appearance[]
Waruta's whole body was covered in fluorescent pink paint due to being struck by anti-crime color balls.[2]
Personality[]
Waruta is quick to irritate and tries to intimidate others, but is also quick to be disheartened. He lacks common sense, as he tried to rob a bank in the modern era while being armed with just a pistol.
Plot[]
Waruta tried to rob a bank equipped with only a pistol, but was easily thwarted by the bank's alarms and shutters, the swift evacuation of customers by the bank clerks, and the use of anti-crime color balls. He was pursued by the police and was unable to break through their encirclement, so went to Hanazono Condominiums in order to barricade himself and take hostages. After Yūji opened the door for him, Waruta tried to take Yūji, Margery, Wilhelmina and Shana hostage. He wanted to obtain a ransom and flee the country, but the group were not afraid of him. Waruta was exposed to the voices of Tiamat and Marchosias, but dismissed them as toys. He tried to get the group to act like they were afraid, but to no avail. Eventually, an irritated Marchosias conjured flames and threatened Waruta, greatly intimidating him and giving him minor injuries. Waruta fled the apartment and gave himself up to the police outside due to his fright.[2]
