The War Hunt (戦狩り Ikusa-gari ) was a number of operations where Töten Glocke intervened in human wars to let their army feed on the Power of Existence.[1] These operations happened before the beginning of the Great War and the formation of the Flame Haze Army.
Background[]
The War Hunt was conceived by Töten Glocke in order to feed its Crimson Denizen army with the Power of Existence taken from humans who were fighting in their own wars.[1]
The War Hunt was also a competition among its inner circle, the Nine Eternal Divine Scales, to see how skillfully they could handle the groups of Flame Haze who would appear to thwart them,[1] and on who would gather the greatest amount of Power of Existence. In the end, Sokar rose as the best performer in the War Hunt.[2]
Chronologically, the War Hunt had started before the City Devourer Incident and appeared to conclude or end before their stationing at the Brocken Fortress. Töten Glocke would later focus its attention on taking a certain Treasure Tool and waging the war against the newly formed Flame Haze Army.
