Valac (ウァラク Varaku ) is the Crimson Lord who was bound to Yurii Chvojka, who was her fifth contracted Flame Haze. Her first contractor was referred to as the Princess Who Loves Insects.
Appearance[]
During her brief contract with Yurii, Valac expressed her will through the dagger-shaped Divine Vessel Hoverla. It is not revealed what shape or name of her previous contractors' Divine Vessel were, since name Hoverla and its dagger shape all related to Yurii's.
After she crossed over to the new world Xanadu, Valac takes her humanized form which is described as a good-looking woman. At Justus's unveiling ceremony on the Lord of the Seas, she is seen wearing an elegant attire. However, she does not care much about keeping her image and sprawls lazily on the sofa.
Personality[]
She speaks rather wearily but yet she looks after her partner Yurii with kindness.
Background[]
She had many partners before Yurii, him being her fifth contractor. Many of them were powerful but suicidal avengers and none of them stayed alive for long. In the novel, it is revealed that she and her first contractor, who was referred as the Princess Who Loves Insects was one of the oldest Flame Haze who took down the God of Creation, Snake of the Festival, in a war thousands of years ago. She is referred by Khamsin as "The Tornado of Life" (生命の竜巻 Seimei no Tatsumaki ).

Milestone[]
Valac and Yurii appear before Margery in New York after she was defeated by Sydonay. The next day Yurii introduces himself and Valac to Margery. He reveals that he has only been contracted to Valac for one year. In the afternoon, Yurii explains to Margery why he made a contract with Valac. Valac agrees with Margery that Yurii should go home because he doesn't qualify to be a Flame Haze.[1]
That night, Valac watches the Fūzetsu with Yurii. She asks him why he told Margery that he couldn't save anyone before. She reveals that Yurii knew he would be rejected by Margery. Valac then gives Yurii permission to enter the fight and help Margery. Yurii and Valac then use their powers, gathering moths and creating a tornado. They enter the Fuzetsu, drilling Sydonay, who is in a Chimera form, in half. Yurii drills Annaberg's arm off. Annaberg later returns and attacks him, but Yurii and Valac are able to drill him again, killing him. Despite Valac's warnings, Yurii goes to help Margery. He rushes Sydonay, but he slashes him from behind. Sydonay then fires Power of Existence at them. Margery does the same. As Yurii dies, he says sorry to Valac, who says he did nothing wrong.[2]
