Write not going to talk in depth cause we all know the plot. I get that denizens consume power of existence to live and that if too many people were eaten we'd notice. What about the smaller side though. Let's say they ate Yujji's grandfather would everyone disappear and does that count ad extra or do they just get one soul per meal. This show ignores cause and affect why doesn't history change at all. I know it wouldn't until the torches disappear but it just doesn't add up
