Trivia (トリヴィア Torivia?) is a Treasure Tool used by Bal Masqué to control various functions within Seireiden.[1] Fecor is a frequent user of this Treasure Tool.

Appearance[]

It looks like a torch that is used in the Olympic Games and other sporting events. It seems to hold a fire that will never quench.

Abilities[]

Trivia is a Treasure Tool used to control Silver Sand Corridor (銀沙回廊 Ginsa Kairō?), the mechanism built by Dantalion that manipulates dimensions in Seireiden, connecting places regardless of their distance; it is used mainly to allow communication throughout the various areas of Seireiden. Using together with the large furnace-shaped Treasure Tool Gehinnom, it allows for fine control over Seireiden, such as raising and lowering the drawbridge and selecting routes.[1] It would be placed next to Gehinnom when it is not in use.

When holding Trivia, the wielder is masked with the same ability as Crypta; Fecor uses it to hide his immense power as a Crimson Lord and disguises himself as the keeper of Seireiden without being noticed by the other members.[2][3] However, when he needs to speak with the Snake of the Festival or the Trinity in front of Bal Masqué's subordinates, Fecor would hide his body inside Magnesia's rectangular cubes and stick Trivia into the top of it, resembling a rouge-colored candle; this appearance is what other members perceive as the Crimson Lord "Tempest Hoof".[3]

Background[]

After Fecor's death, it was passed to Mammon and eventually transferred to Bel-Peol. She used Trivia to extract only Seireiden's original parts from the Shrine of True Ruler; this was done to have Seireiden reconstruct itself via the self-repair mechanism. Bel-Peol and the God of Creation then departed to Xanadu.

Trivia[]

  • Although not officially confirmed, Trivia is possibly one of Dantalion's Crystallization of Self-Research from its connection to the Silver Sand Corridor.
  • In the Final episode 23, as Bel-Peol and the Snake of the Festival are leaving for Xanadu, the flame on Trivia is depicted as golden, Bel-Peol's flame color. However, in the light novel, the color is silver.
