Shakugan no Shana Wiki

Trigon (トライゴン Toraigon?) is "Master Throne" Hecate's Treasure Tool, which is in the form of a khakkhara staff. When it is not used, Trigon would be placed within the great furnace-shaped Treasure Tool, Gehinnom housed within Seireiden, along with the other two Treasure Tools exclusively made for the Trinity.

It is only allowed to be used during the execution of the Grand Order[1], along with Shintetsu Nyoi and Tartaros.

Appearance[]

Trigon assumes the form of a golden staff with six triangular rings dangling on a bigger triangular ring.

Background[]

Like the other Treasure Tools wielded by the Trinity, Trigon was specially created by the God of Creation, the Snake of the Festival.[1]

Trigon's specific abilities are mostly unknown, but it is always used when Hecate handled the Psalm of the Grand Order.[1] It is presumed to have originally served as an antenna for receiving and transmitting the will and power of the Snake of the Festival, who was banished into the Rift Between Both Worlds after the battle with ancient Flame Haze. When receiving the Psalm of the Grand Order sent from the God of Creation, Trigon emits countless triangles.

During the Great War, Trigon was used to remotely resonate with the portions of Psalm of the Grand Order held by Asiz for his Grand Scheme, though the execution was not carried out, she aimed to destroy those portions.

Hecate also used it to expel the Tyrant, who irregularly appeared from the Reiji Maigo, and imprint a seal onto the Treasure Tool. Trigon was also used as a weapon in clashes against the Nietono no Shana. It is also used to awaken the Snake of the Festival's true body and enable the Snake of Festival to announce his plan to create Xanadu. In the anime, Trigon is seen used to unleash Hecate's primary Unrestricted Spell Aster, but it actually possesses no combat functions.[1]

Trigon is presumed to vanish into overly bright light-blue sparks of flame along with Hecate, who disappeared as a sacrifice for the Divine Summoning, Saiki Reisō.
