Shinku (真紅, True Crimson) is an Unrestricted Spell unique to Shana.

After she regained her power as a Flame Haze inside Seireiden, she had come to realize the symbol of "strength" as the "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter" during following the fight with a Crimson Lord Vual. She became able to use this spell along with the others: Hien, Shinpan and Danzai.

Her previous spells like Guren no Sōyoku and Guren no Kyowan are considered parts of the power of Shinku.

Background

Shana named this spell as such because this power is made "true" by the embodiment of the "crimson" flames. The naming was not done out of vanity or to sound impressive, but was simply a decision to follow the suggestion of her training overseer; she was told that naming the power she wielded would aid in clearly recognizing and understanding it.

In essence, Shinku is an embodiment of Alastor’s flames; in other words, it is an Unrestricted Spell based on the same principle as Mathilde Saint-Omer’s Knights.

Shinku is an alteration in how the power of manifestation, which she had formerly used to materialize her flames, worked. The spell still manifests flames as a power that are "flames as something other than flames," like the Guren no Kyowan she had used. However, from the depiction of the Guren no Kyowan she used against Vual, the range of manifestation has expanded, and the precision also appeared to have improved significantly. Also, Azure's ability of protection against fire is unable to nullify attacks made by Shinku.

Just like how Guren no Sōyoku worked, Shana could also make it exhibiting the same properties as normal flames if desired. In her battle with Sydonay, she used this technique as a method of attack by converting the gigantic arm that was grabbing him into flames at the limit of her grip strength, crushing and blowing him up.

Until then, the things Shana had manifested were Guren no Sōyoku that was based on the image of flight, and a giant arm with claws sharpened from fingers that she had been practicing in late-night training since the end of the fight with Margery Daw to protect Lamies. However, once her "visualization of strength" for manifesting her power as a Flame Haze became clear, Shana began manifesting various forms such as a flaming cloak that wraps around her and serves a defensive function, the gigantic Demon God's leg that kicks enemies, and the Demon God's jaw that synced with her mouth to amplify her voice.

Shana primarily uses it for close-quarters combat by manifesting parts of Alastor’s body. Depending on how Shana used it, she could even shape Alastor's whole body, allowing the manifestation of his "Quasi-Divine Body" (擬似神体, Giji Shintai) into the outside world.
