The nineteenth chapter of the Shakugan no Shana X: Eternal Song manga series.
Using her full power, Mathilde destroyed Labyrinthos, as Molech decided against deactivating it.
Summary[]
Mathilde sent her power through the crown and all the threads throughout Labyrinthos. Molech felt the power running through him as Knights formed one by one along the threads, and he figured out that the Flame Haze had run around inside him all this time to set up this attack. Labyrinthos could instantly repair itself if a part of it was destroyed, so Mathilde was trying to destroy it all in one stroke. Molech decided against undoing Labyrinthos; he wouldn't be able to adjust the positions of those inside quickly enough, meaning if the Flame Haze emerged from Labyrinthos closer to Asiz than the "Pair of Wings", everything would be over. He had to make Mathilde use up her power. As Molech said goodbye to his master, all the Knights inside Labyrinthos exploded and the giant ox fell to pieces. Molech's last thoughts were a wish for Chernobog to survive.

Chernobog screaming over the top of Gavida.
An earthquake was felt by Chernobog and Gavida within Tendōkyū, which caused Gavida to burst out laughing. Chernobog thought that earthquakes didn't occur within Labyrinthos, but suddenly shuddered. She grabbed Gavida, who had been reduced to just his head and torso, and demanded he tell her what he knew. Gavida replied that it was as Chernobog guessed; Labyrinthos had been blown apart, but Chernobog wouldn't believe it. Gavida stated the reason why he had been the only one inside Tendōkyū; they didn't want anyone to get caught up in Labyrinthos' destruction. Chernobog believed Labyrinthos was impregnable, but Gavida told her to go outside and see for herself. Gavida stated that Molech had been destroyed by "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyes", but Chernobog screamed that he was lying and exploded him. Gavida had been reduced to just his head, but Chernobog quickly ran out of the room.
Hurrying through Tendōkyū, Chernobog remembered Molech once boasting about Labyrinthos' impregnability. Therefore it had to be true. Even though he was always timid, Molech was invincible. Merihim, Illuyanka, even Sokar, despite their teasing of him, they all knew that. But what was waiting outside was only the night and small pieces which were all that were left of Labyrinthos. Chernobog's wail filled the sky.

And please survive, Cher——"
- Gavida: "If you go outside... you'll know, whether you like it or not. "Great Embracing Furnace" Molech has been destroyed... by "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyes"."
Chernobog: "THAT'S A LIE!!" - Chernobog (thinking): "You're there, aren't you, thin ox? I'm not worried. No matter how timid you act, you're invincible. Merihim, Illuyanka, even Sokar, they all know it. No matter how much you're teased, you'll be——"
