  The feature revealed that Yashichirō Takahashi was involved in the screenplay of the final episodes of the second season. Kobayashi talked about the purpose of the second season to bring the anime closer to the original novels, as many elements were omitted during the first season as there weren't plans for a sequel at that time, as well as going through with all things which were foreshadowed in season 1, especially Bal Masqué's plans. She revealed that Fumina Konoe was originally planned to be reluctant about being absorbed by Hecate, and that the director decided against it.
