End of the Aizens IX (愛染の終 IX Aizen no Tsui IX) is the 68th chapter of the Shakugan no Shana manga series.
Yūji and Shana returned to their original locations before the activation of Cradle Garden, with Yūji going to Ike and Shana to Yoshida.
Summary[]
Yūji walked up to the school roof. The petals of Cradle Garden were almost all gone and the spell would deactivate soon. Yūji took his position next to the frozen Ike and felt like it had been a long time since their conversation had stopped. Ike began to answer the question that Yūji had asked him, saying that he did really want to help Yoshida, but didn't know if he loved her or not. Yūji listened to his answer and thought about Shana, and the two watched the setting sun.
Shana faced Yoshida again but didn't know what to say, as she had started saying something before Cradle Garden interrupted her. She told Yoshida not to confess to Yūji, which Yoshida was initially surprised about but was adamant about doing so. Shana tried to object but couldn't put into words what Yūji meant to her as she recalled special moments she had had with him. Shana said she didn't know what she felt. but shared and had done many things with Yūji which had made her happy. She told Yoshida that Yūji was better off with her, but Yoshida argued that that was for him to decide. They argued about Yoshida not knowing anything about Yūji and whether she could learn about him or not. The two glared at each other before they both turned and walked away from each other. Shana vowed to not lose to Yoshida.
