Day of the Clash IV (激突の日 IV Gekitotsu no Hi IV) is the 50th chapter of the Shakugan no Shana manga series.

Margery recognized Sydonay, as they had met in the past, and he introduced her to Tiriel as a top killer among the Flame Haze. From Margery's title, Tiriel recognized that she was contracted to Marchosias, who also was aware that they were dealing with the Aizen Siblings. Tiriel had heard rumors that Marchosias was a mad Lord who joyously screamed while killing his brethren. Margery had also heard about the lustful siblings, who would torture their trapped prey, but she provoked Tiriel by saying that their only worth was being good at hiding. Tiriel demanded that Margery give Sorath what he wanted. Margery didn't know what she meant, but said that they had guts to talk to her that way. Tiriel thought she was stronger than Margery and could thus make demands, and asked again, this time saying the name of Sorath's desire, the Nietono no Shana. Margery knew that it was the sword in Shana's possession, but said nothing, so Tiriel had to resort to hurting her to get it.
Tiriel told Sorath that he didn't have to wait anymore, and in an instant he was before Margery, brandishing Blutsauger. Margery saw the sword, which had ripples on its blade, and instinctively leapt back to barely dodge Sorath's swing instead of using a spell to defend herself. She fired a blast of flames from her mouth, but Sorath easily parried it with the tip of his blade and rushed at her. Sydonay leapt down and struck with his transformed arm, but Margery dodged and went to Sorath, dodging all of his strikes. With Sydonay bearing down on her, Margery went behind Sorath and whacked him with the Grimoire, sending him flying towards Sydonay. While Sydonay had to transform his hand again to be able to catch Sorath without hurting him, Margery leapt up and made an explosion that decimated the whole area.

Margery hid within a broken building but was found by Sydonay, who struck at her through a wall and just missed her. He asked why she wasn't wearing Toga or using the Improvisational Poems of Slaughter which had killed many of his friends, and Margery tried to bluff by saying she didn't need them. Sorath felt that Margery didn't possess the Nietono no Shana, leading Sydonay to tell Tiriel what he had tried to before; they were always feeling a big presence wherever they went because there were two Flame Haze in Misaki City. He knew that Margery most likely wouldn't use a sword, but thought the possibility was there due to the fact that she was holding back during the fight. Tiriel thought that she should activate Orgel before Margery asked the other Flame Haze for help, though Margery hated that idea. Tiriel needed to hurry, as the other Flame Haze might leave Cradle Garden's effect range. She told Sydonay to stall Margery until she activated Orgel, saying she would leave behind the parts of Cradle Garden protecting him. As she and Sorath left, Tiriel vowed to give Margery a gory death for insulting them after fulfilling Sorath's wish.
Margery joked that Sydonay was struggling with the siblings as his clients and offered to free him from his work. Sydonay also joked, saying Margery needed a long holiday for coming to fight while not being in good condition. The two clashed.
