Claw and Fangs of Violation II (蹂躙の爪牙 II Jūrin no Sōga II) is the 36th chapter of the Shakugan no Shana manga series.
Shana arrived and saved Lamies from Margery. With Yūji accompanying her, Shana was oozing with a confidence which infuriated Margery.
Summary[]
Lamies was considering using some of the Power of Existence he had gathered to fight Margery, but sensed something and decided against it. As Margery was about to attack, Lamies used an Unrestricted Spell to try and confuse her by transforming his doves above into feathers, which created an illusion distorting the glass dome roof and masking his location. Margery expelled a blast of flames from her mouth which destroyed the illusion. She moved to attack the now defenseless and stationary Lamies, but Shana arrived and blocked the attack. Shana proudly introduced herself to Margery and Marchosias, using both her title and new given name.

Shana gave Margery a choice; to either leave Lamies alone or get hurt. Margery figured that Lamies' illusion spell was to hide Shana's approach. Margery then saw Yūji, who had arrived with Shana, and realized that he was a Mystes. Lamies hadn't expected Yūji to come as well, and expressed his surprise, for even a Mystes usually couldn't move within a Fūzetsu. Yūji said he would tell Lamies about it later and stood guard in front of him. Margery approached them, but was blocked by Shana. Margery asked Shana if she thought she could stop them, considering Margery easily defeated her before, but Shana repeated her choices for her. Margery tried to argue that Shana couldn't protect Lamies and that there were no good Denizens. Shana, however, wasn't interested in arguing, and just wanted to know whether Margery would get in the way of her mission or not. Her statement angered Margery, who resolved to kill her.
Margery used an Improvisational Poem of Slaughter to make clones of herself and surrounded Shana. Shana glanced at Yūji. Somehow, she felt calmer, and could feel the flow of the fight differently from yesterday. Shana rushed and struck at Margery, getting the real one. Margery blocked her sword with her arm and prepared to blow out flames from her mouth, but Shana was already behind her. Shana slashed and Margery barely escaped with just her ear cut off. Margery shot some fireballs to no effect, as Shana was already alongside her. Margery had to block another strike with her arm. She wasn't being given enough time by Shana to use her Unrestricted Spells, and thought she was like a different person to yesterday.
