Yūji I (悠二 I ) is the thirteenth chapter of the Shakugan no Shana manga series.
The interaction between an embarrassed Yoshida and a happy Yūji made Shana irritated. Later, Yūji's plan was implemented in order to draw out Friagne.
Summary[]

Friagne saying he won't lose with Trigger Happy.
In his department store hideout, Friagne polished his gun. He thought about how the first Mystes he had encountered in a while was with a Flame Haze, and that he had to fight them. Marianne advised him to be careful against the Flame Haze because she was contracted to the "Flame of Heaven" Alastor. Friagne stated that as long as he had his gun, Trigger Happy, he couldn't be defeated by a Flame Haze. He told Marianne that he won't let anyone get in the way of his goal, which was to turn her from a Rinne into her own existence. A Rinne was unstable; they could gather Power of Existence but couldn't absorb it, and would disappear in three days if their master didn't supply them with power. Marianne thought of this as an inseparable bond between them, but Friagne said that doing things for her was everything to him, and that he had a way of getting all the power he needed. He planned to prepare for the hunt while the Flame Haze had no way of finding him, and would hunt Shana the same way he had many Flame Haze before. Many plush dolls and mannequin Rinne gathered around them over a miniature replica of the city.
Shana and Yūji were having lunch in the classroom with Yoshida, Ike, Satō, Tanaka and Ogata. Shana wanted to leave so that they could carry out Yūji's plan. Satō asked Shana what she liked about Yūji, revealing that the group had watched her and Yūji on the bridge the previous day, though Shana didn't understand the question. Yoshida apologized to Yūji, saying that she had asked Ike where he and Shana had gone. Ike covered for her, saying that they had caught up to the two on the bridge and had found it hard to approach them during their conversation. Yoshida became very embarrassed when Shana asked if she had wanted something from Yūji, and the whole table looked at her. Yūji began to suspect her feelings for him, but dismissed the idea. Yoshida told Yūji that he was cool during the Phys. Ed lesson yesterday. Yūji tried to say that he hadn't done anything and it was all Shana, but Yoshida became animated in saying how he had helped her and persuaded the teacher, surprising the rest of the group. As Yūji thanked Yoshida, Shana watched the two, who were both blushing and smiling. She didn't understand their exchange, but it made her feel bad, like she didn't want to be there. Shana got up and began to drag Yūji out of the classroom, even when he was in pain and asked her to wait. With the whole class staring, the two left, with Yūji making one last glance at Yoshida. Ike looked at Yoshida, who was angry, and thought that she and Shana were both the real deal.
As they left, Yūji thought that it was a bit of a shame that he had to leave Yoshida. Shana kicked him for being slack before a battle. Yūji wondered why she was so irritated.
The two went into the city and Shana activated a Fūzetsu next to the Torch of a workman. Yūji felt he would never get used to the spell. The Torch before them was going to disappear soon; it could no longer interact with others and had no sense of self or will. Shana absorbed the Torch and Yūji lamented that another person had died, even though he was the one who had suggested this idea, and the Torch was already dead. The two had taken care of 43 Torches now, and Alastor wagered that Friagne would act soon. Yūji made a request of Shana to make use of him if he could be of any help in the upcoming battle. She agreed and they both smiled. Yūji felt like they had cornered Friagne, and urged him to make a move.

Friagne deciding to confront Shana.
Friagne looked over his miniature replica of Misaki City and saw some of the flames in the city disappearing. Marianne told him that Shana was using Fūzetsu spells to consume the Torches in the city. This was an act inappropriate for a Flame Haze, who were meant to protect the world's balance. Marianne suggested that Shana was trying to call her comrades, but Friagne deduced that they were trying to lure him out. If he didn't go, his plan to activate City Devourer would be thwarted, and on top of that more Flame Haze would arrive in the city and destroy him. He told Marianne not to worry, as they were challenging him to see what he does. Friagne decided to confront Shana.
