Shakugan no Shana -BEST- (灼眼のシャナ-BEST-) is a 'best of' compilation album containing all of the songs that were used for the Shakugan no Shana anime series. The front jacket of the album uses a new illustration by Noizi Itō, the illustrator for Shakugan no Shana light novel series.

Background

Shakugan no Shana -BEST- was released on January 24, 2018 as part of the 25th anniversary of Dengeki, along with a similar album for the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime series. Dengeki is the brand which Dengeki Bunko, the publishing imprint for the Shakugan no Shana light novel series, belongs to.

Two versions of the album were released, a First Press Limited Edition and a Normal Edition. Both versions compose of two CDs, and the First Press Limited Edition also comes with a Blu-ray disc containing creditless OPs and EDs from the anime series, a special sleeve, and a clear file featuring the cover illustration.

The CD's booklet contains lyrics of all the songs and is illustrated with screenshots of the OP and EDs. Shakugan no Shana -BEST- was released by NBC Universal Entertainment, with permission to include the songs used in Shakugan no Shana III-FINAL-, which are licensed by Warner Bros. Japan LLC.
