Quotes[]

  • (To humans present at the pier in Hawaii): "Humans. Even if you listen, you probably turn deaf ears to it. Humans. Even if you know, you probably can't comprehend. First of all, hear it to the point it engraves into you. Know it to the point it carves into you——of our existence! Then, worlds would connect! And after that, we could walk together! For now, let it engraves into you even if you don't listen. Let it carves into you even if you don't comprehend——of our teaching!! We are Crimson Denizen—— Those who visit this world and intertwine with humans!! Let yourselves be engraved by our powers. Let yourselves be carved by our way of things. In order to recognize the existence of your hidden neighbors, Crimson Denizen!!"
  • (To humans before it was cut short upon Seere's arrival): "We shall introduce ourselves... The assembly of those who will, by using their supernatural powers, disillusion people and reform the world... The name is..."

Trivia[]

  • Sarachael seems to be derived from Saraqael, another name for the archangel Sariel.[1]
  • His name in the guidebook Shakugan no Shana no Subete Kan is written in English as Sarakiel;[2] this name is supposed to be phonetically written in katakana as サラキエル.
  • However, there are a few sources that transliterate サラカエル as "Sarakiel," such as Japanese Wikipedia article on Sariel, and a manga of the same name by Kōshi Rikudō.
