Reflective Transfer (鏡像転移 Kyozō Ten'i ) is the term that refers to a series of phenomena involving the Tyrant (later labeled as Tyrant II after another one was created) collecting samples of human emotions. The phenomenon is inadvertently triggered when the Tyrant detects humans who possess strong emotions.
Background[]
When the Tyrant detects strong emotions from humans anywhere in the world, it will transfer a copy of itself to the location in question.[1] There, it will convert nearby humans into Power of Existence and absorb it as an energy source to form a temporary receiver for the main body which was inside Bal Masqué's base of operation, Seireiden.
The copy possesses no will of its own. It just faithfully carries out the desire or wish of the emotion's originator; it replicates what that human "wanted to do" by acting in their place, like a mirror. Through this faithful reenactment, the Tyrant manages to copy and collect samples of human emotional patterns, both the emotion itself and its associated behavior.[2]
Those countless fragments, called Personality Reflections (人格鏡像 Jinkaku Kyozō ) are the very components that would be used to resonate with the will of the banished Leader of Bal Masqué. And the Tyrant would become his substitute body.[1][2]
During collection, humans, like Margery Daw, would experience visions of the summoned Tyrant (which she called it The Silver, believing it to be a Crimson Denizen), who appeared merely as a phenomenon, responding to their strong emotions. The appearance of Tyrant II can varies; it might change into different forms based on the target's emotion.[1] The fragments of emotions that had been gathered for centuries are then stored in the crucible-shaped Crystallization of Self-Research, Conloquium.[3]
Plot[]
The fragments of emotions accumulated by Tyrant II are finally woven together by the Psalm of the Grand Order's final Unrestricted Spell Insignia. This final insignia had previously been analyzed by Dantalion and was finally activated after the event of Sabrac attacking Misaki City.[4][3] This results in the completion of the Virtual Aggregate Will. With this, the Snake of the Festival's will is able to resurface in this world.
