Madder Red Surging Wave (茜色の怒濤 Akaneiro no Dotō),[1][2][3] also known as Surging Wave of Flames (炎の怒濤 Honō no Dotō),[4] was "Destructive Blade" Sabrac's main method of attack using flames which resembled a gigantic tsunami.
Background[]
A large quantity of swords of various sizes were concealed[3] and dancing within the surging wave's flames, so enemies engulfed in the tsunami would be exposed to both countless blades and scorching flames. It could be likened to a march from hell by ghosts of blades, or a banquet of chaos seeking something to slash to death.[1][2] The surging wave was powerful and Sabrac could freely change its shape.[5]

The Surprise Attack (不意打ち Fuiuchi) was Sabrac's special method of beginning battles. It was a large-scale concerted attack via a vast amount of flames and huge number of swords which went off indiscriminately around the area and easily destroyed enemies. As the attack itself could only be done roughly, it was difficult for Sabrac to hold back or adjust his aim.[2] The Surprise Attack was impossible to sense coming, having never been detected by either Flame Haze or Crimson Denizen. Sabrac concealed himself in an area in advance, assessed the situation, and unleashed the powerful attack at the most effective moment.[5]
