Love Planet Five was a 5-member special musical unit of the production group I've Sound made specifically for Shakugan no Shana The Movie. They sang Tenjō wo Kakeru Monotachi, the main theme song of the movie.

The members of the unit were KOTOKO, Mami Kawada, Eiko Shimamiya, MELL and Kaori Utatsuki, and the former two have sung numerous theme songs for the Shakugan no Shana anime.

Background

Love Planet Five was produced by Kazuya Takase, who was inspired by Super Sentai.

The group reunited and performed at the I'VE in BUDOKAN 2009 〜Departed to the future〜 concert on January 2nd, 2009. They later sang HYDIAN WAY, the theme song of Departed to the future, a movie included in the I've Sound 10th Anniversary 「Departed to the future」Special CD BOX.
