Chapters[]
- Chapter 1: Misaki Municipal High School
- Chapter 2: Sakai Residence
- Chapter 3: Misaki City Station
- Chapter 4: Sakura Festival
Summary[]
1. at Misaki Municipal High School
Yūji's former classmates discuss the unexplainable things they witnessed in the last battle between Shana and Yūji. However, the incident didn't bring chaos as Kazumi's memory of Misaki City was used in the restoration process during the battle.
2. at Sakai Residence
Kantarō Sakai and Chigusa Sakai are taking care of their newborn child Miyu with Matake Ogata, who occasionally visits to lend a hand in babysitting. Kantarō does research on the final battle. Chigusa, on the other hand, reminisces about Wilhelmina (Chigusa forgot the existence of Shana, as a result of Yukari Hirai's restoration); Margery said that Wilhelmina has departed to a far-away land and will never come back to Misaki City and that Wilhelmina is now happy.
3. at Misaki City Station
With Keisaku Satō studying at Tokyo and still at Outlaw, and "Chanter of Elegies" Margery Daw back at Misaki City, they are welcomed by Tanaka and Kazumi - now more beautiful due to her longer hair (as commented by Margery). They discuss the matters about Outlaw and other Flame Haze. Marchosias exclaims that the Crimson Lords who remained on Earth will no longer be able to return to the Crimson Realm because Xanadu was made at the middle of the two worlds, thereby blocking the link in between. But Margery hopes that one day she will discover something from the Psalm of Grand Order left by Johann that could fix the problem.
4. at the Sakura Festival
While enjoying the scenery, Kantarō reveals his daughter's name and the meaning behind it to Yūji's former classmates at Misaki Municipal High School. She was named Miyu because of the distant sound (はるか, which can also be written as 悠) that he and Chigusa heard during the last battle (Shana versus Yūji and Margery versus Sydonay). This was most likely when Yūji commanded the residents of Misaki to watch and remember the scene.
At the night of the said festival, Margery Daw presents a ring she called "St. Edward's Ring", which in reality is one of the ten rings of the Treasure Tool called Chorde - and the only one left on Earth. Shana used this Treasure Tool to combat Yūji in the last battle. Margery says that if one takes hold of the ring and prays, the hopes and prayers would reach the other rings. She passes on the ring to Tanaka and Ogata, who pass it back to Margery and Satō, who then pass it on to Ike, to Yukari Hirai, and finally to Kazumi. Miyu, upon watching the whole scene, cries and seems like she wants to hold it. So the ring is given to the Sakai couple, and ultimately to Miyu. They pray and as the chapter closes, they say their prayers and their blessing becomes a wind that would cross between worlds.
