The Friagne Party (フリアグネ一党 Furiagune Ittō)[1][2] is a name used in the novels' prose to refer to the unnamed group of Rinne led by "Hunter" Friagne. They are mostly later referred to for being responsible for creating many Torches in Misaki City and devouring the "real Yūji Sakai".
Background[]
Due to Friagne's adeptness at creating Rinne, all of his Rinne have strong Aggregate Wills, allowing them to wield Treasure Tools. The strongest of them is Marianne.[3] Nina, the first created in Japan, was already Friagne's 5918th Rinne,[4] though it is possible some of them had already been destroyed or not taken into Japan.
All of the Rinne were made from things like dolls and plush toys. Among them included a puppet with coarsely knitted hair, a rabbit full of patches, a ball made up of heads, a little fashion doll, a bear with an angel's halo and wings attached, a giant baby who was three heads tall, a plastic dachshund, a large number of mannequins and action figures[3] which could serve as armor and augmentation for weaker Rinne who enter them,[5] as well as parts of these. All of the Rinne understood that they only existed for the sake of Friagne and Marianne,[3] and therefore they all loved the two and wished for City Devourer to be realized.[6]
Many were destroyed by Friagne using Dance Party during his fights with Shana, in order to conceal Dance Party's true purpose for readying City Devourer. Shana also destroyed many of the Rinne.
As Friagne was destroyed by Alastor, any surviving Rinne would perish within a few days. One such Rinne, Nina, confronted Shana and was destroyed.
