The Dengeki Bunko Story Trading Card Special Collection (電撃文庫ストーリートレカスペシャルコレクション ) is a collection of cards featuring illustrations and very brief stories of several Dengeki Bunko light novel series, including two cards for Shakugan no Shana. Both cards feature an illustration by Noizi Itō and a story by Yashichirō Takahashi.
"Bucchigiri! Media Jack!! Fair" Cards[]
The first Shakugan no Shana card was for the Dengeki Bunko Bucchigiri! Media Jack!! Fair (電撃文庫ぶっちぎり! メディアジャック!! フェア ) in 2011. The card itself came with volume 22 of Dengeki Bunko Magazine, which was released on October 11.[1] There are 12 cards in all for the "Bucchigiri! Media Jack!! Fair", which tell a continuous story about a time bomb passing through the hands of various Dengeki Bunko characters. The Shakugan no Shana story is the last of the 12.
In the C³ card's story, Fear Kubrick suggested someone who could get rid of the time bomb. The person was skilled, had a trusty partner, and carried a dangerous weapon. Above all, they were part of the "Ladylike Bosoms Alliance" (淑乳同盟 ) like Fear was.
Shakugan no Shana card[]

Shana returned home to the Hirai Residence where Wilhelmina was waiting. Shana was holding a time bomb, which she said she had gotten from an acquaintance. She wanted to experiment with bomb disposal. Shana analyzed that the bomb would have low power. It was also damaged on the outside (by other Dengeki Bunko characters beforehand) so it wouldn't react to impacts. She thought she could disassemble it due to its simple structure. Shana was able to disarm the bomb, and inside was a calendar, cards and similar goods, as well as a box with a drawing of a naked woman on it (an eroge put in the bomb by Kirino Kousaka from Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai). Wilhelmina covered Shana's eyes, took the items, and left to find where they had come from. Shana told Alastor that she would detonate the explosives anyway, as it was a more fun way to get rid of them. That night, there were two bomb threats.
"Bucchigiri! Genkai Toppa!! Fair" Cards[]
The second card was for the Dengeki Bunko Bucchigiri! Genkai Toppa!! Fair (電撃文庫ぶっちぎり! 限界突破!! フェア ) in 2012. The card itself came with volume 28 of Dengeki Bunko Magazine, which was released on October 10.[2] The theme of the cards for this fair was "Limit Breakthrough" (限界突破 ).
Alastor's Limit Breakthrough[]

Alastor's Limit Breakthrough (アラストールの限界突破 Arasutōru no Genkai Toppa ) is the Shakugan no Shana card for the 2012 fair. It takes place in Xanadu.
Shana remarked that flames had been bursting out of Alastor's Cocytus during their recent battle, but he didn't know anything about it. Since they had been fighting Unrestricted Spell Masters, Yūji had been monitoring the battlefield with Grammatica, but didn't notice anything strange. He asked if the Divine Vessel Cocytus was a part of Alastor which was Manifested outside of Shana's body, which Alastor confirmed as being the part which allowed him to express his Aggregate Will. Yūji theorized that the flames materialized because the Divine Vessel's function was being affected by the overflowing Power of Existence in Xanadu, and was a Manifestation made irrespective of Shana's will. He suggested that in Xanadu, Alastor could create a new way of fighting, besides using flames. Yūji told Alastor that if he honed that phenomenon, he could use the Divine Vessel as a nucleus to create a "Quasi-Divine Body" (疑似神体 Giji Shintai ). He could break through his limits and aim for new things. Shana wanted to test things out, but Alastor was worried.
