Daimon (ダイモーン Daimōn) is the Unrestricted Spell used by "Cup of Corrupting Indulgence" Pirsoyn, a Jaeger of Bal Masqué.
Background[]
Daimon spreads a pale iris flower-colored poisonous[1] mist, and anyone who inhales it becomes intoxicated and put in a confused state. It affects not only Crimson Denizens and Rinne, but humans and Flame Haze as well. However, Daimon has a restriction where only one race can be affected at a time, so Denizens and Flame Haze cannot be intoxicated at the same time.
Daimon can be guarded against if one holds their breath or uses the Unrestricted Spell Purifying Flame. However, in the case of Flame Haze, their contracted Crimson Lord is also intoxicated and put in a confused state, and therefore many Flame Haze who had their guard down have died to it, leading to Daimon being one of the most notorious Unrestricted Spells in this world. Even if Pirsoyn is repelled, the effect of Daimon will remain.
Daimon's weakness is that its effect will not be properly demonstrated in stormy weather, as the strong winds will blow the mist away. Also, if Pirsoyn's opponent is too powerful, they won't be easily intoxicated.
