Coffer of Evening Party (夜会の櫃, Yakai no Hitsu) was a Treasure Tool in a shape of a monstrous train, handcrafted by Dantalion. It was an intrument for his research on enlarging Distortion to its utmost limits; this was to be done by reversing Khamsin's Tuning of Misaki City using an Unrestricted Spell Insignia called Anti-Seal. Before its activation, the Coffer of Evening Party was stored deep underground at a train station in Shiramine City, to avoid detection by Flame Haze.

Its official name is Crystallization of Self-Research Excellent 29182-Coffer of Evening Party (我学の結晶エクセレント29182-夜会の櫃, Gagaku no Kesshō Ekuserento 29182-Yakai no Hitsu)

Appearance

Coffer of Evening Party took the shape of a massive train with sharp, robust frontal structure resembling a battering ram. Its body featured a complex array of mechanisms like an exposed engine. At the front of the train glowed the distinctive color of Dantalion's flame. There were also defensive Unrestricted Spell Insignia installed on it; however, only the front of the train could block attacks. It also had stabilization wings for flight. When its whistle blew, it would roar like a beast. The very tip of the train housed the final piece to complete the Anti-Seal.

Other Crystallization of Self-Research were also installed inside the train: the Wise Man's Eye at the train's forefront to remotely oversee distant locations, A Messenger to communicate with his assistant Domino, and Caterpillar Bomb. There are also a cockpit with lever-operated and rotating controllers, CRT monitors, a periscope, speakers, including countless gimmicks ranging from practical to useless, such as a giant mallet or a wok. Additionally, if it successfully trapped Flame Haze inside, it could utilize their Power of Existence as fuel for its propulsion system.

Background

Coffer of Evening Party's true purpose was to serve as the final piece to kick-start the Unrestricted Spell Insignia Anti-Seal, which was constructed at Misaki City's train station beforehand. It could be said that the train was the activation key to complete Dantalion's experiment to reverse Khamsin's Tuning.

However, Coffer of Evening Party was destroyed by Shana just before arriving at Misaki City Station.

In the anime

"Mobilizer of Ceremonial Equipment" Arc in the anime was altered drastically. For some reason, it appeared as an unnamed airship. The only commonality with the Coffer of Evening Party is that it was the final piece of the Anti-Seal (in the anime, it was an experiment for the anime-only spell, Whole Sacred Chapel). The airship itself seemed to be just a modified existing airship, and it is unclear if it was even one of Crystallization of Self-Research or not. The airship also had function to combine with Domino's Yagura Robot, but the significance of this combination was equally unclear. Also, it became completely defenseless at the moment of combining. This weakness was then exploited by Khamsin, who shot it down with his Ra's Throwing Stone.
