Appearance[edit | edit source]
It assumes the form of a ring that is silver in color. The actual Chorde seems to be just a single ring, but can multiply as many times as the user wishes.
Background[edit | edit source]
It was once used by Kasha as a weapon. In the novel, Kasha is in Eastern Europe, devouring humans as he pleased. Then, he is confronted by the girl with flaming hair and burning eyes, who at that time is in training by Sophie Sawallisch. He fights her with Chorde, his personal Treasure Tool, but he is easily destroyed by her. In the anime, he is seen in Misaki City instead of Europe, but he was destroyed by Shana in a similar manner as the novel.
Later, Chorde is revealed to be safely kept by Shana in her coat, Yogasa. This Treasure Tool becomes an important tool for her to counter the Snake of the Festival's plan to trick Yūji into using the backup system of the Grand Order to overwrite the Grand Order (which, in reality, Shana had not overwritten when she used Chorde on it).
